“Stonehenge” Chernomorsk
The employees of Artur Grigoryan’s studio have constructed Stonehenge in Chornomorsk
Stonehenge is a well-known to everyone and everywhere stone construction which entered the list of World’s Heritage and located in Wiltshire, England. One of the most original and enigmatic stone constructions the humanity has ever known attracts by its being unique, massive and natural. Stonehenge keeps a secret: how, just with human hands without special technology and machinery it was possible to create this massive sculpture, where the weight of each stone is 25 tons.
Studio’s employees used artificial rocks to construct this Stonehenge
The thing is a massive sculpture, consisting of artificial rocks and stones, joined with concrete. The size is majestic and material is a reference to English original. While the real Stonehenge is stones, laid in a circle, the studio experts made their own designing feature by putting the sculpture into half-circle, thus giving it designer’s charm. The beige stone is in harmony with natural landscape around. The composition is finished by two benches made of the same artificial material. Owing to this there is a possibility to sit and feel like being a part of the ancient culture, while imagination is taking you to the area of England.
The weight of this material is less than that of the natural stone. Despite the rocks being not real ones, the construction is not visually different from natural stone. The English Stonehenge has endured through many centuries, so this creation is durable as well, due to being resistant to any thermal influence. The artificial material is not flammable and is resistant to frost and humidity.
Designer’s Stonehenge may become a decoration of any territory, garden or a site around a cottage. The construction is ecologically clean owing to the best artificial materials.
